Big anniversary concert at Moster!

Kvinner i Nettverk is involved in various joint Christian initiatives. Among other things, we are helping to organize a concert at the "Jubileumsveka på Moster" (Jubilee Week at Moster), which celebrates 1000 years since Christian law was established in Norway.

On Sunday, June 2 at 21:30, the association Himmelske Toner will fill Moster Amfi with beautiful harmonies to celebrate the thousand years that have passed since Christian law was established.

They have been given the honor of ending Jubilee Week with a formidable concert together with national artists - all with a solid background and knowledge of the various genres of Norwegian folk and church music. Well-known singers such as Hanne Krogh and Inger Lise Rypdal will sing us through our history, together with local musicians and soloists such as Arne Kvarven, Åsne Valland Nordli, Filip Stav and Ingebjørg Andrea Ådnanes. The choirs Bremnes Kantori and Ad Libitum from Sveio will help to make this June evening in Moster Amfi an unforgettable evening!

In June 2023, Foreininga Himmelske Toner held a magnificent choir concert in Nidaros Cathedral with a project choir of 180 singers. The concert was sold out with a thousand people in attendance. The concert was designed as a thank you to God for "sending his word to the mountains of Norway, and light streamed over the land"...

With this, we want to invite everyone to a musical storytelling experience - both as listeners and participants in the season, where we sing our way through our nation's heavenly songs through a historical timeline - to sing songs sung by all layers of the people throughout our history, everything from familiar and beloved hymns, gospel and praise songs, but also lesser known material, from 1000 years back in time.
