Mozambique needs our help!
Women in The Network want to help refugees in northern Mozambique through our partner Iris Global in Pemba!
Thousands of refugees flock to the province of Gabo Delgado where we work with
Iris Global about orphanages, schools, etc.
We would now urge you to participate in a fundraiser for the refugees, those displaced by terrorist groups' attacks on villages and towns, and their heinous acts against the civilian population.
Iris Global helps refugees with food, clothing and the essentials. Capulanas, among others.
This is a multifunctional basic garment used throughout Mozambique by children/women/men. It is used as a piece of clothing, towel, cover at night, to carry children in, such as sanitary equipment, m.m. Having a Capulana is about having the most necessary, and it is about identity and dignity.
A Capulana costs USD 5, i.e. about 42 NKR.
