BANGLADESH

Women in the network support 16 bean women from Bangladesh.
It is the organization WPW (Women's Prayer Work) that drives this work. Annlaug Jonskås from Telemark has been a missionary in Bangladesh for many years. She is now a pensioner and has moved home to Norway, but her missionary still burns in her heart. It is a pleasure for us in women in networking to be contributing to the work Annlaug stands in, and which she continues after the years she herself lived in Bangladesh.

BEAN WOMEN

Bean women are women who travel to different places and preach the word of God. They have a special focus on prayer. These are women who live radically for Jesus and bring light in the darkness. To be able to support and cheer these women feels like a great privilege.

We support 16 bean women who travel to different villages and teach/evangelize among Bengali women. They also organise annual conferences of inspiration and equipment for women out in rural areas. Our regional work in Telemark has a special responsibility for this project.
