Karin stood before his second adultery. She was full of inferiority, and had begun to think, "is there a purpose for my life?" Then she accidentally came across a television reportage from a healing meeting.

This is now 16 years ago. The aim of the program was to disclose that healing is cheating, so a test person would attend.
– I was very skeptical and looked at. I thought that those who came, not really were sick, but that they sure were paid to be driven into wheelchairs or hobble in on crutches. But it did not go as planned, for it ended with the fact that the test person was healed of double vision, he who was going to reveal that this was nonsense.
Karin was speechless and sat down on the edge of the couch. What really happened here?

Life to the Faith
Karin had, according to her self, uncritically brought further his parents ' way of being Christians.
"I am baptized and confirmed, a member of the Church of the people, and knew my father. We just went to church on Christmas Eve. Otherwise, it wasn't Christmas, Mama said.
So also lived Karin, her husband, and their two children. Until that night 16 years ago. Then her curiosity was guarding. She started on a journey to find out what this really was. The journey took her to several meetings with the same preacher. She took her daughter, who was then 15, among others. She had problems with her knees, and had to use crutches. The doctor had told me that her troubles would not disappear until the age of 20. But the knee was good the same night. The daughter was healed and ran around the premises without pain. She hasn't used the crutches since. At the next meeting Karin was ready to invite Jesus into his heart.
– With it followed a wonderful peace. A peace that could not be explained by words. It was like coming home. Being unconditionally loved, like the I was. It was balm for my soul, tells Karin, and describes it as that it came life to the faith.
Three weeks later, Karin joined the Alfa course, and she was left open and welcomed what she longed for. Over the next few years, she would be in a lot of excitement. The lady who had wondered if there was a meaning to her life would have a great significance in the lives of others. If God can use me, then he can use all, is one of her testimonies. And precisely this, to make a difference in the lives of others, to be Jesus ' hands and feet here on earth, and to spread his love, has become so important to Karin.
"I think it is so important that we make sure to be continually filled with the love of God. Otherwise, we can't love other people. He is the source we have to drink from every single day. If we do, it's easy to send a smile, say something positive or give a hug.

Out on the street with God's love
Five years ago, Karin joined forces with two others from the congregation. They asked a very specific prayer: "Show us what you will use us for on Friday evenings."
"God was very tangible back and wrote" Nygade, Silkeborg "for the spiritual eyes of my friend," says Karin.
It was the beginning of Gadekirke in Denmark. Nygade is the street where the city's discos and nightlife spots are located. It made sense, but they were amazed that they were going to another city. What they didn't know was that this was just the beginning. A year after the start in Silkeborg, Gadekirke started in Aarhus. Today it is the Gadekirke in 15 Danish cities. Karin is every Friday night in place among all those who are out on the town in Denmark's second largest city, Aarhus.
"We meet with God's love and no condemnation, serve free coffee and cocoa and tell the good news that Jesus loves them and has given his life for them," says Karin.
"I cannot convince them of discussions, I am not really good at discussing, but I am happy to ask if I can ask a prayer that God will bless them. There are not many people who say no to.
Karin has been very central to the spread of Gadekirke in Denmark. She travels around and holds lectures throughout the country.

A heart for the sick
At a conference in 2012, Karin had a strong experience.
– I was so unhappy that I just cried. It was as if I knew a piece of God's father's heart for those who do not have Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, and for those who struggle with diseases.
After this, a young woman approached her with a message from God: "God thinks you're absolutely unique. He will use you for something great. "
"I began to cry again, but this time it was the tears of joy. I didn't know specifically what God would use me for, but I had a clear sense that it had something to pray for the sick to do.
At the conference they were encouraged to go home and start praying for the sick.
"They challenged us not only to pray for two — three people, and to say that it does not work, but to pray for 200, at least we would see that some were healed. I thought this is what I'm going home to do.
Karin did just that. But she didn't stop with 200. She began to record her baths early, so she could see when she reached 200. She now has over 1 500 on her list. She has seen miraculous healings, as when a lung man got new lungs. He had smoked for 30 years, and after long-term hosting he took an X-ray. There were apparent shadows on his lungs. He was asked to return two weeks later for new pictures.
"In the meantime, I was allowed to pray for him. I was so bold and prayed that God would send an angel to the spare parts warehouse after the perfect new lungs of the man. When the man took new pictures, the doctor exclaimed puzzled: "I understand nothing." The lungs we have taken pictures of today, have never seen cigarette smoke. "
This is just one of the many healings Karin has been experiencing through his prayers for the sick.
"I know that it is not I who heals, but Jesus. But I know my identity in him, and I stand firm in the promises that stand in the word of God. When I pray for men, I do not implore God to heal the person for me, for it may be sorry for the one who is being prayed for. I speak to the disease and tell it how great my God is. And then I pray in the name of Jesus. For There is such great power in the name of Jesus.
But not all are healed. Why is this?
"I've been thinking a lot about this," says Karin. – And I have come to the conclusion that I do not know. I would encourage people to intercede again if nothing happens. But I don't want to make any sense of guilt for them not being healed.

Gate Kirka in Denmark

Walking on the water
Three years ago, Karin began to ask the prayer, "Let me make a difference in someone's life today." Every Friday she meets people out on the city and gets to share the love of God with them. She is often out praying for the sick, and on the days she is only home, there are often people who call her because they have a need for hope or comfort. Karin prayed a courageous prayer and is given daily to see the fruits of that prayer.
— God loves to use us to spread the love he is. We must dare to step out of the boat, out on the water and stay focused on Jesus.
