Many years ago I got an alliance with Geir. There were three diamonds in this ring. Later on one occasion I got two new diamonds that were attached to the ring. Such rings increase in value and shine as they expand with new stones and are incredibly beautiful when the light is reflected in these!
I find it an illustrative picture of how God has treated us and looking at us! His relationship with us is a covenant, which the ring is a picture for. In Isaiah 54 it says that God gives us gems and sapphires. It is also about rusts, crystals and precious stones given from the Hand of God.
Alliance RingHe has completely from the creation given his diamonds to the people, which he loves. He kept nothing again when he created us, he created us in his own image — he used the foremost "working drawing" that existed. He breathed on man and gave us one spirit — like a sapphire in the ring. That meant we could communicate with him face to face.
When we took the ring with precious stones and crushed it with a sleoundrel in the fall of sin, he took it in his gracious hands and made a new ring, more beautiful than that which was before. The price he paid for it was himself to be crushed — on the cross. Then he put a blood-red ruby into the ring.  He went on to put in noble crystals when he gave his own Holy Spirit in our hearts. "He that did not spare his own son, but gave him unto us all, how should he be, except to give us all things with him?" (Rom. 8.32)
Therefore we can say that we are valuable, that we are wonderful! It is he who has done it, and it is he who has given beauty. It is he who has attached the noble stones on his rings. It is he who will continue to give of himself — to his children.
It is fantastic to see the light game in the various falsets in diamonds and other beautiful stones. It is not a luster they produce themselves, but they reflect light that shines on them. It is also a thought that may be good to take with them. Some of this is visible in the ancient blessing that reads:

"The Lord bless you and keep you! The Lord let his face shine upon thee and be gracious unto thee! The Lord lift up his face and give you peace! " (4. Mos. 6,24 – 26)

Have a BRILLIANT spring! 🙂
